OBJECTIVES
1.- To stimulate the productive and efficient use of ICT in ELT in Latin America generally and Venezuela particularly.
2.- To develop a pool of high-level designers of CALL materials who will:
a.- contribute to the British Council’s ELT projects
b.-act as multipliers in their own institutions, in the country and throughout the region

I have been using blogs and social tools with my classes since 2003 and am now co-running a webpublishing project which highlights and displays best practice in the area and aggregates students blogs so they can find other students around the world to read and comment on. We would like to welcome all the teachers invited to the event: ICT in ELT: DEVELOPING NETWORKS AND DESIGNING MATERIALS to be held in Mérida next October. We hope this site will be a tool for you to get informed about this event and also an opportunity to exchange ideas/experiences related to the main topic of the seminar with colleagues from different universities in Venezuela.
